Research at RHTLaw Asia

During my time at RHTLaw Asia, I was given an opportunity to assist in research efforts in the intellectual property department, and was tasked with finding articles that correlated to the topic of image rights in Asia. I was also entrusted with coming up with a short summary of what I had gathered from the articles.

One article I worked from, by RHTLaw Asia partner Rizwi Wun, explores the legal position in Asia and the extent to which an unrelated party may use the image of a deceased celebrity, including images that are AI-created, for commercial purposes.
